Sundance launches Live From Abbey Road
I wasn't familiar with their music - but I did hear that Ben was famous for chewing out
an unprepared interviewer, on camera no less. (Ouch!) WIth only a day to get ready, I
researched him as best I could and sat down for the interview in his dressing room. In
person he was very soft spoken, articulate and intelligent - and our 10 minutes went
by without a hitch.
In concert, he was SPECTACULAR - including an amazing piece of showmanship when he gave up
his microphone to sing acapella. He rocked the house ...
Recently we were asked to cover the network launch party for the new Sundance series,
"Live From Abbey Road". Part of the event was a private concert with Ben Harper and the
Innocent Criminals.
